Lil Tjay Gets Involved In Backstage Fight At Hot 97 Summer Jam: Watch
Listeners of Lil Tjay have been relieved to see the New York native back in action in recent months. He previously took a leave of absence to recover from his traumatic shooting experience. On Sunday (June 4), the youthful star gave his most recent performance in his home state.
He was among the amazing lineup of artists performing at Hot 97 Summer Jam. Tjay not only performed some of his best singles from his own repertoire, but he also brought out Ice Spice to perform their “Gangsta Boo” collaboration live for the first time.
The Bronx-born lyricist’s set went incredibly well, but as HipHopDX reports, he appears to have run into some trouble backstage. In a video posted to TikTok by @lilmacc_, Tjay is seen being held back by a full team of security while yelling at someone on the other end of the hallway. “You’re gonna be fired!” he shouts multiple times while fighting to break free from the guards.
